Web administrator

We are looking for a Web administrator to join our IT department. The main responsibilities of this position include managing the websites and applications on company portals (both extranet and intranet), and configuring backup and recovery solutions. The chosen applicant will also be involved in maintaining the web servers’ integrity, monitoring and auditing web server logs, and identifying any areas of vulnerability of company servers.

The Web administrator will also configure and administer the security of web resources, and maintain directory permissions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar position and have a good understanding of Linux and Windows applications such as: Apache, Postgres, IIS and MS SQL. Any other relevant qualifications, including a University degree, would be considered an asset.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing person, to join our Online marketing team and contribute to strengthening and expanding the company’s affiliate program. Energetic and self motivated, you will be responsible for:

• Researching and signing-up potential partners

Web Specialist

Do you have a minimum of three years working experience in the web design industry? We need someone to put Uniblue’s web properties and online material ahead of our international competition by utilizing the latest techniques and trends in web design. An extensive design portfolio together with experience with web technologies such as CSS, XHTML and JavaScript will be considered an asset.

For all positions you should have a minimum of 3 years experience with Adobe products including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver.

C++ Developer

We are looking for a C++ developer to join our existing development team, working on our advanced software applications. Candidates are expected to be familiar with Windows programming and possess extensive experience of object-oriented programming, using C++. Applicants must also have a genuine interest in technology and an up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in their area. The ideal applicant will also be knowledgeable of agile development methods, Qt application development, or Windows security issues. Database Developer

Working closely with the software development team, on the optimization and design of Uniblue’s complex database projects, we are looking for an experienced database specialist. Candidates are expected to be experienced with multiple servers, clustering, and with managing high-volume transaction databases. The ideal applicant will have thorough experience as a software developer, while advising on database architecture, performance and resource requirements, as well as experience with SQL (including the coding of stored procedures and triggers). Experience of PostgreSQL and SQLite would also be considered an asset.

We are looking for an experienced web developer to help manage improvements to our web application platforms.
