Windows device driver information for ACCES PCI-DIO-24S

The Acces PCI-DIO-24S driver is necessary for the proper performance of the series digital boards contained in the Acces PCI-DIO-24S device. The device is compatible with universal PCI and PCI-X standards and its digital boards are ideal for use in applications like laboratory automation, machine control, robotics, automatic testing systems, energy management and security systems. The device is also perfect for use to monitor and control relay information as well as transferring parallel data to PCs. More to this, the device senses switch closures and Transistor-Transistor Logic (TTL), recorders, CMOS logic, vehicle indicator lights and Diode–Transistor Logic (DTL). The Access PCI-DIO-24S device has extra provisions in its hardware components, which avoid the slow poll of information whenever changes are required. The device has 50-pin headers, which enables easy interfacing between the PC and the TTL conditioning devices or the screw terminating boards.

The AccesPCI-DIO-24S device is an input and output card with 24 bits parallel, which are manufactured for use in all PCI-Bus computers. The card's length measurements are175 millimeter or 6.9 inches and can be installed in all compatible PCs. This device is a depopulated version of the 48S card, which uses 50 card headers to connect to the board. The device has two interface chips, which the user can easily program. Both Chips are type 8255-5 (PPI). Each PPI has three different 8-bit ports (Ports A, B and C). Individual 8-bit ports can be configured to either function as an input or output port. The user can configure port C to accommodate four output latches and an equal number of input latches. When the user first plugs in the card on his PC, the system detects the new hardware and consequently assigns it a new a base address. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for and ACCES PCI-DIO-24S errors before installing any driver updates.
