The AMCC SATA RAID 9690SA Manager is used with robust AMCC 9690SA device 3 GB per second SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) RAID Controller that provides users with greater scalability and expanded connectivity. This device is capable of offering configuration flexibility with 4 low profile PCI express controller choices which include 4 internal ports, 4 external/ internal ports, 8 external ports and 8 internal ports. It is fully compatible with Serial Attached SCSI expanders that are industry standard to efficiently optimize scalability. Each of the 9690SA SAS controllers is capable of scaling for supporting 128 SATA and/ or SAS devices. The SAS RAID controller device comes with a unified RAID management interface via the AMCC SATA RAID 9690SA Manager, and a software suite that ensures the most ideal configuration experience with all 9690SA controllers regardless of the storage interface used by the controller.
