This is a mini PCI internal express Card that utilizes the express technology that is available with the NAPA chipset. The express card gives the user the ability of hardware encryption that includes 128 and 64 bit Wired Equivalent Privacy, temporal key integrity protocol, Cisco key Integrity protocol and advanced encryption standard. The card is a plug in adapter that is specifically designed for networking. The networking feature is compatible with IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11b and the connectivity is wireless. Even while transmitting on a wireless frequency the card is capable of a 54 Mbps thanks to the IPv6 support that comes with the adapter. The card comes with a USB cable for easier connection and for low power consumption from the CPU.
