D2Audio HDAudio Device is a total integrated HD Audio interface for the media PC. It has been designed for low EMI signature and to be compliant with RoHS. It enables the OEMs and system integrators to deliver AVR class. Its audio processing has a maximum of twelve independent digital audio channels that have complete multi-channel in addition to legacy support capability. D2Audio HDAudio Device also includes D2Audio's DAE-3 ICs which is the first pure digital class-D amplifier controller which is used in a THX Ultra2 performance-level media PC amplifier design. D2Audio HDAudio Device integrates D2Audio's DAE-3 Digital Audio Engine directly on the PC motherboard. It also plays the role of second audio codec and does not relocate legal implementations. It links directly to HD Audio Bus on motherboard and also offers digital audio PWM channel data to amplifier cards.

D2Audio HDAudio Device has legacy audio functions that still remain on motherboard and its cards fit into Standard PCIe Card slot. Its PCI expresses low profile form factor with the maximum height being 68.90 mm.
