OfficeJet J5700 is a multifunctional device used for faxing, printing, copying and scanning to produce colored and black documents of high quality. OfficeJet J5700 is an all-in-one printer device capable of delivering HP performance and reliability at a reasonably priced cost. Some of its features include efficient and quick production of documents, high quality scanning of 48-bit color and dpi resolution of 2400x4800. Its system is exceptionally reliable and the investment is adequately protected by HP Total Care, which offers an extension of services and warranties. The inclusive HP software assists in saving time when text is being captured from documents in hard copy form while large documents are easily managed through the use of an automatic 35-sheet document feeder. The ideal printout quality is achieved through the HPIJS driver. When the OfficeJet J5700 printer device is used wirth the HPIJS driver, it auto-detects the type of ink cartridge and paper and does internal color adjustment.

The drivers for OfficeJet J5700 are installed by first downloading OfficeJet J5700 file from the manufacturers site and saving it `on the computer then proceeding to unzip. The printer device is then connected to the computer followed by right clicking on My Computer and clicking on Properties. The next step is proceeding to the Hardware tab where a click on the button for Device Manager finds the new printer device on a category of dot4print. The new printer device should be double clicked and the button for Reinstall driver pressed. Install should be selected from the specific location and check Include the location before clicking the Browse button for the HP driver to be selected. The Next button is clicked to proceed and the Finish button to end the installation. The new OfficeJet J5700 printer device should be seen in dot4print in the Device Manager.
