ZTE Diagnostics Interface (COM13) is a HSDPA USB modem capable of high speed mobile broadband of almost 3Mbps where available. Where required, this USB modem device degrades to a lower mobile network speed. The Chinese telecommunications company known as ZTE provides this modem, which has the capabilities of self-installing on Windows, but for Mac OS, there is a provision for a disc. When this modem is plugged in, it is detected by Windows as a device for mass storage. After loading the drivers, it somehow detects that this is some data interface variety and all this is displayed in the Device Manager. The plug and play of Windows searches for drivers required by this interface, locates them on the modem and proceeds to install them from this point.
