Portable Document Format, more commonly known as PDF is a file format with 2D illustrations. These illustrations are usually in the form of images, 2D vector graphics, or texts. PDF was developed and introduced in the computer world by Adobe Systems. The images, drawings, vector objects, and texts on a PDF file may be imported into a DWG file or AUTOCAD file. Converting PDF files into DWG files allows users to edit and remove lines or arcs from the vector objects from the original PDF file. The user has to use AutoCAD software for editing the imported drawings and/or from a PDF file. AutoCAD is mainly used in drafting and designing both 2D (2-dimensional) and 3D (3-dimensional images. Autodesk, Inc. is the worldwide developer and distributor of AUTOCAD.

Step 1
Search the Internet for PDF to AutoCAD Converter software. Type 'PDF to AutoCAD Converter' or relevant keywords on search engines for the said application.

Make sure to read and understand all the key features of the software as well as the requirements required before downloading the said application. The features of the PDF to AutoCAD Converter application must include: (1) the function of converting PDF files to AutoCAD DWG files; (2) a user-friendly Graphical User Interface; (3) the capability of extracting and importing embedded images and vector objects from PDF files; and (4) embedded support for different types of PDF elements such as polygons and texts.
