Materials Needed:

- Unlocker
- Microsoft Windows Operating System
Step 1
The first method is to reboot your computer and try to delete the program file folder.
Step 2
If the first method does not solve your problem, click the ‘Start' button and then click 'Run.' Key in 'cmd' or 'cmd.exe' in the 'Open' text area to launch the command prompt window. At the command prompt, change the directory to the path where the program file folder is located. Then try to delete the program file folder using the delete or DEL command. You can also make use of the remove directory or RMDIR command to delete the program file folder and all of its contents.
Step 3
If you still can’t delete the program file folder by following Step 2, then leave the DOS command line window and launch the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc and terminate the explorer.exe process.
