Since the advent of removable drives such as USB’s, media cards, external drives etc., this worm has been the main culprit in destroying the file stored in those devices. It displays the message that says:“I just want to say I love Milko and I need a drink.” There are certain instances where this worm usually originates. It is believed that it may be dropped by other malware. It may also be downloaded unknowingly by a user when visiting malicious websites. The worm also drops copies of itself. It also creates registry entries to enable its automatic execution at every system startup.

A computer that is infected with this worm program runs noticeably slower than usual. This is because of the numerous activities being executed on the user’s machine. This worm program is also known for terminating the processes that are related to security applications that are protecting the computer. This makes the worm program difficult to detect and remove from the computer. The W32.Chiko application is known for disabling some processes that are related to other malware applications.
