LocalCooling spreads worldwide.

Uniblue’s free, downloadable software that optimizes a PC’s power savings – Local Cooling – has gained support from all over the planet. In less than two months, the Local Cooling community has grown to around 31,500, with members from every continent joining the fight to prevent Global Warming from their Desktops.

Since launch, several improvements have been made to the application:

• added Hibernate option on advanced page
• added HTTP proxy support with auto detection
• added Remember window state when restarted (minimized or desktop widget)
• added terminate list in config/terminate.ini
• added Silent installation for automatic deployment on networks.

More features are about to be added and upgraded, many of which were suggested by users and contributors to the forum. One of the more prominent suggestions has been to translate Local Cooling into other languages – an indication of its widespread use, and this and other requests will be tackled by the Uniblue Labs Team over the coming weeks.
