Uniblue retires the award winning WinBackup

Voted by Computer Shopper as “Best Backup Software” the WinBackup range of top performing data backup and recovery products have offered clients complete security for all their important data for over 5 years. Used by thousands of people around the World, the standard, pro and server versions helped to set standards of ease, effectiveness and simplicity, in backup software, which other firms have found hard to follow.

However, since the launch of WinBackup, Uniblue’s product focus has moved towards offering a powerful range of performance, security and stability software and the company has enjoyed unprecedented success with utilities such as RegistryBooster 2, SpeedUpMyPC 3, and SpyEraser 2, and online knowledge resources including Process Library, DLL Library and File-extension.com.

2008 also anticipates the launch of at least three exciting new applications, all of which Uniblue expect to strengthen the company’s position as one of the world’s leading providers of PC optimization technology. Since it is felt that backup solutions no longer lie at the heart of the firm’s strategy, Uniblue has made the difficult, and perhaps slightly sad, decision to discontinue WinBackup in order to release the resources to better take advantage of new opportunities.
