PC World blogger Rick Broida checks out Processlibrary.com’s ProcessScanner
19th January 2009
Rick Broida has been a technology writer for over 15 years, contributing to publications and sites such as Lifehacker, Wired, CNET and Popular Science. On the Hassle-Free PC blog on PCWorld.com, he gives quick fixes and troubleshooting tips to PC users. Recently, he took a look at one of the tools available on Uniblue’s site Processlibrary.com: ProcessScanner.
ProcessScanner is a free tool that scans a PC and reports on exactly what’s running, which program a process is associated with, the memory usage each process is taking up and gives every one a threat rating.
On the blog, Rick says, “Upon reviewing the report, you may find apps you want to uninstall to improve performance or even malware that needs to be eradicated. This is definitely a worthwhile tool for any diligent Windows user. I just made it a permanent addition to my utilities arsenal.”
