By using this tweak you are able to lock or unlock the taskbar. If you lock taskbar, you wont be able to resize or drag it from one edge of the screen to another. However, it doesnt prevent you to add or remove toolbars, or resize and rearrange individual toolbars on the taskbar. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the dword value taskbarsizemove, in the right panel, to 0 which can lock the taskbar. However, if you want to enable the feature back, change the value data to 1. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion Explorer\Advanced\]</b>, right-click on "TaskbarSizeMove" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "0" (Base Hexadecimal) and click on 'OK'.
