Click here to run a free scan for registry errors
This setting allows grouping of similar windows buttons on Taskbar.
Level: Recommended For Novice Users
Description:
Usually, the facility to group similar windows buttons on taskbar is enabled. But, if this facility is disabled you can enable it with this setting. This setting allows you to specify if similar windows should be displayed in one single button or in individual buttons on the taskbar. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value taskbarglomming in hkey_current_user and hkey_local_machine registry paths, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can group similar buttons. However, if you want to remove groupings, change the value to 0. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.
