Replace logo used in Windows Messenger.
This setting enables you to change the logo used in the About dialog of Windows Messenger.

Windows messenger is an instant messaging program that helps you to have online conversations with your friends, colleagues and family. You can also have voice and video conversations apart from text conversations as well as send files and photos to your contacts. By using this tweak you are able to change the logo used in the about dialog of windows messenger. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, double-click on the string value installationdirectory to copy the contents of the value data field from the dialog. In the second step, open your windows explorer and paste the windows messenger folder path in the address bar. Subsequently rename the filename logowin.gif to logowin-old.gif. Then, copy and paste the desired .gif file in this folder to replace the existing logo of windows messenger and name it to logowin.gif. Windows messenger will have a new logo. However, if you want to the default look of the windows messenger, delete the new logowin.gif file and rename the default file logowin-old.gif to logowin.gif. Refresh view of your computer for the changes to take effect. Note: the new background image should be of size 234x50 pixels. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

Go to <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MessengerService\]</b>, in the open area right-click on "InstallationDirectory" and click on 'Modify'.
