Description:
By using this tweak you can remove integration of windows messenger functionality from outlook express. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Here, create the dword value hide messenger in the right panel, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify its value to 2 which can remove integration of windows messenger. However, if you want enable the option back, delete the added value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express\]</b> key, right-click on the blank area in the right pane and click on "New > DWORD Value" to create a new DWORD value with the name "Hide Messenger".
Third, right-click on the 'Hide Messenger' DWORD value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the value "2" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
