Yahoo Messenger next username to sign-on as
This setting lets you sign as the next user on Yahoo Messenger.

Instant message programs let you exchange messages (text, audio, or video) with another person or persons over the internet in real time. If you do not want to disclose your username to other user then this setting helps you by changing the previous logged in username. Using this, you can change the username that appears in the yahoo! id text box on its next start. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Create a string value name yahoo! user id in the right panel, if it does not exist. Right-click it and modify the data value with the user name you want to give to make it enabled. Click ok and close the registry editor. Restart the system or logoff to see the changes taking effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\Pager\]</b>,right -click in the open area to create a String Value with the name "Yahoo! User ID" in "Pager" key.

Next, right-click on "Yahoo! User ID" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "User Defined Yahoo Id" Without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'. Once you are done. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.
