Microsoft defaults the "Online Support" link in Internet Explorer Help menu to its support page. This setting lets you change the URL of the link to any other website.

Normally, "online support" option in internet explorer help menu defaults to microsoft support page. But, through this setting, you can modify the link to visit a different url/website of your choice. You can try this setting on all versions of internet explorer. For this, go to start > run, enter "regedit" and search for the key listed below. You can create string value "online_support" under "help_menu_urls" key, if this value does not exist. Refresh internet explorer for the changes to take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.


First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to Second, go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\] and create a new key 'Help_Menu_Urls'.
Third, create a String value 'Online_Support'.
Now, right-click on 'Online_Support' and select 'Modify'.
Set the 'Value Data' as 'Website URL (like' in the textbox provided and click on 'OK' to link other website to 'Online Support' option in Internet Explorer.
