You can change the icon name My Computer which is visible on Windows desktop to something else.

Description:
This setting lets you rename my computer icon that is shown on your desktop. The name my computer can be changed to something else as windows lets you customize it. Some people would prefer to see their name on this icon, say johns computer, assuming the name to be john, instead of the commonly used my computer. For this, go to start > run, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create the key {20d04fe0-3aea-1069-a2d8-08002b30309d}, if this does not exist. Now, change the default value of the key to the name that you want to display in place of my computer. Refresh view of your computer for the changes to take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}]</b>, right-click on "Default" and select 'Modify'.
Finally, write the new name like "Johns Computer" in the textbox provided and click on 'OK'.
