Customize InfoTip of Internet Explorer.
This setting can be used to customize the text information given with InfoTip of Internet Explorer.

Description:
Generally, infotips are used to display advanced item information. When mouse is hovered over internet explorer icon on desktop or windows explorer, a short text is displayed corresponding to it in a yellow box. This useful information is brief detail on internet explorer. To change the default information on internet explorer use this registry setting. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the expandable string value infotip with the text content that you want to appear as internet explorer infotip. Important: we recommend that you copy the data of the infotip value in a .txt file and keep it at a safe location, so that you may recover it when required. However, if you want to get the default value back, replace the data with saved contents. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\CLSID\{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30309D}\]</b>,right-click on "InfoTip" and click on 'Modify'.

Enter the value "User Defined Tool Tip" without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'.

Go to <b> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\CLSID\{00020D75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\]</b>,right-click on "InfoTip" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "User Defined Tool Tip" without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'. Once you are done. Exit from registry. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.
