Displaying selected icons of Internet Explorer on desktop.
This setting enables you to display selected Internet Explorer icons on the desktop.

Description:
This setting makes selected icons like "internet explorer history" and "temporary internet files (disk cache)" to appear on the desktop. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a subkey under namespace as {ff393560-c2a7-11cf-bff4-444553540000} which corresponds to internet explorer history and {7bd29e00-76c1-11cf-9dd0-00a0c9034933} which represents temporary internet files (disk cache). However, if you want to remove these icons from desktop, delete the respective subkey. Refresh view of your computer for the changes to take effect. Note: the added internet explorer folder icon folders can neither be accessed nor deleted from the desktop. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.
