Do not save changed icon position on desktop (For Current User)
Users can change the positions of icons and place them anywhere on the desktop. Windows saves such settings even when the user logs off or restarts the system. This setting can let you disable such feature.

Normally, users can change the positions of icons and place them anywhere on the desktop. Windows saves such settings even when the user logs off or restarts the system. This setting can let you disable such feature and will display all the icons at the default position. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Here, create the dword value nosavesettings in the right panel, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify its value to 1 which can disable icons position settings. However, if you want enable the option back, change the value data to 0 or delete the added value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Go to <b> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion Policies\Explorer\]</b>,right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "NoSaveSettings" in "Explorer" key.
Next, right-click on "NoSaveSettings" and click on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
