This setting enables you to change the reaction timing of the start menu.

Description:
This setting enables you to change the reaction timing of the start menu after it is displayed. The default value for the "delay in appearance" timing is 400 ms, the longest time is 65535 ms (which means that you have to wait for a click) and the shortest possible value is 0 ms (no delay). For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the string value menushowdelay, in the right panel. Right-click and modify the value between the range 0-999 in milliseconds to enable the setting. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\]</b>, right-click on the 'MenuShowDelay' String value and click on "Modify".
Finally, modify the value between the range 0-999 in milliseconds in "Value Data" field to enable the setting.
