Description:
Internet explorer gives the option to view the source of a webpage. You can right click on a webpage in internet explorer and choose the option view source or select source option in the view menu to view the source of a webpage. Upon choosing this option, internet explorer will open notepad, the default source editor, which will show the source html of the current web page. With this setting, you can turn off this option. Important: even if you enable the source view option, all the open internet explorer windows will not show the effect. For this, go to start > run, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value noviewsource at hkey_current_user and hkey_local_machine registry paths, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can restrict source view in internet explorer. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to 0. Restart internet explorer for the changes to take effect. Note: this feature works on internet explorer version 5 and above. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.
