This setting enables you to have Classic method of Search Assistant enabled on your system.

Search assistant is located inside the search bar. It likes to have full information in the query form from the user before embarking on the search. It stores and displays all type of information like text abstract, url, file size. This setting enables you to change the animated look of search assistant to classic look. This can be done through some settings in the windows registry. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a string value use search asst, if this value does not exists. Now, right-click and modify the value data to no which can clear call the classic search. However, if you want the animated search look, change the value to yes. The changes take effect after a logoff. Note: the value data are case-sensitive. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CabinetState\]</b> , right-click in the open area to create a String Value with the name "Use Search Asst" in "CabinetState" key.

Next, right-click on "Use Search Asst" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value User "no" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
