This setting disables you to make changes in history settings in general tab of Internet Explorer.

Description:
The history panel records all the pages you have visited recently and you can manage the days for how long you want to keep these pages. These pages can be cleared through the button clear history, but this setting can be disabled. For this, you have to make changes in the registry. Go to "start->run" and enter "regedit" and click "ok". In the registry tree, expand as given in the keys to "control panel". Enter the value dword value for "connection wizard", create if not existing. Enter the value "1" to enable the setting and "0" to disable it. After restart or logoff, changes take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the Start button, and select Run. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit"
Second, go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\]</b> and create a new key "Internet Explorer."
Third, create a subkey "Control Panel" under "Internet Explorer".
Fourth, create a DWORD value "History".
Now,right-click on "History" and select 'Modify'.
Finally, set the 'Value Data' to 1in the textbox provided and click on 'OK'.
