Disable changes to home page settings in general tab in Internet Explorer

This setting lets you disable any changes made to home page settings in general tab of Internet Options.

Description:
Home page is displayed as soon as internet explorer is started. This is the page you have configured as the first page in the general tab of the internet options. You can have default page of microsoft or your customized page or blank page, which you can change as per requirement, but this setting can be disabled. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create a dword value name homepage in the right panel, if it does not exist. Right-click it and modify the data value with 1 to enable the setting and 0 to disable it. Click ok and close the registry editor. Restart the system or logoff to see the changes taking effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the Start button, and select Run. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to<b> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\] </b>and create a new key "Internet Explorer."
Third, create a subkey "Control Panel" under "Internet Explorer".
Fourth, create a DWORD value "HomePage".
Now,right-click on "HomePage" and select 'Modify'
Finally, set the 'Value Data' to 1in the textbox provided and click on 'OK'.
