Ratings helps you to control the Internet content that can be viewed on your computer. This setting can disable this option in Internet Explorer.

Description:
The internet provides unprecedented access to a wide variety of information. Some information, however, may not be suitable for every viewer. For example, you might want to prevent your children from seeing web sites that contain violent or sexual content. Content advisor provides a way to help you control the types of content that your computer can gain access to on the internet. After you turn on content advisor, only rated content that meets or exceeds your criteria can be viewed. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the sub keys internet explorer\control panel is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value ratings, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can disable setting up ratings. However, if you want to enable the option back, change the value data to 0 or delete the value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the Start button, and select Run. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\] </b>and create a new key "Internet Explorer".
Third, create a subkey "Control Panel" under "Internet Explorer".
Fourth, create a DWORD value "Ratings".
Now,right-click on "Ratings" and select 'Modify'.
Finally, set the 'Value Data' to 1in the textbox provided and click on 'OK'.
