This setting enables you to prevent changing security levels for Internet or Local Intranet zone in the Security tab of Internet Options in Internet Explorer.

Description:
The security tab in internet options dialog of tools menu can control access to websites either on local intranet or internet by applying security settings on various download/browsing options including defining security levels for respective security zones. But, with this setting you can disable customization of security levels in internet explorer, leaving behind with no choice for the user to change any of the defined settings. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the sub keys internet explorer\control panel is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value secchangesettings, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can disable customizing security levels. However, if you want to enable the options back, change the value data to 0 or delete the value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the Start button, and select Run. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\] </b>and create a new key "Internet Explorer".
Third, create a subkey "Control Panel" under "Internet Explorer".
Fourth, create a DWORD value " SecChangeSettings".
Now, right-click on "SecChangeSettings" and select 'Modify'
Finally, set the 'Value Data' to 1 in the textbox provided and click on 'OK'.
