Disable Internet connection wizard in Connections tab in Internet Explorer.
This setting can disable the Internet connection wizard to configure dial-up connection in Connections tab of Internet Options dialog.

The connection tab in internet options dialog lets you setup the internet connection on your machine. It helps by letting to setup dial-up and virtual private network settings. With this registry setting you can disable the option to configure internet connection using any of the above possibilities. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the sub keys internet explorer\control panel is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value connwiz admin lock, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can disable the option to configure internet connection. However, if you want to enable the option back, change the value data to 0 or delete the value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the Start button, and select Run. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\] </b>and create a new key "Internet Explorer".

Third, create a subkey "Control Panel" under "Internet Explorer".

Fourth, create a DWORD value "Connwiz Admin Lock ".

Now,right-click on "Connwiz Admin Lock " and select 'Modify'.

Finally, set the 'Value Data' to 1in the textbox provided and click on 'OK'.
