Prevent adding up of Internet connections in Internet Explorer.
This setting prevents you to make changes in Internet access connection settings in the Connections tab of Internet Options dialog in Internet Explorer.

As the name suggests, the connections tab in internet options dialog on the tools menu of internet explorer is used to configure the dial-up or virtual private network connection settings, to access internet. With this registry setting you can disable the options to manage internet connection settings. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the sub keys internet explorer\control panel is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a dword value connection settings, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to 1 which can disable the options to manage internet connection settings. However, if you want to enable the options back, change the value data to 0 or delete the value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the Start button, and select Run. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\] </b>and create a new key "Internet Explorer".

Third, create a subkey "Control Panel" under "Internet Explorer".

Fourth, create a DWORD value "Connection Settings".

Now,right-click on "Connection Settings " and select 'Modify'.

Finally, set the 'Value Data' to 1in the textbox provided and click on 'OK'.
