This option puts all about: urls into the restricted sites zone so that scripts cannot be run. To restrict about: urls go on this protocol defaults folder using these steps: for this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below after creating the subkey "protocoldefaults", if it does not exist. Create the dword value name about:, if it does not exist. Right-click it and modify with the data value 4 to enable the setting. Click ok and close the registry editor. Restart the system or logoff to see the changes taking effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.

Second, got to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\EscDomains\] </b> and create a new key as 'internet'.

Third create a DWORD value 'about' under the key 'internet'.

Next, right click on the DWORD value 'about' and select 'Modify'.

Finally set the value data as '2' and click 'OK'.
