Internet Explorer calls Microsofts website when the default homepage URL is loaded with the browser. This setting can change the default homepage URL with the desired.

Description:
Internet explorer facilitates to set the desired website url as internet explorer homepage. The default homepage url directs to microsofts website, however, you can change it to any other url that should show up when you call the default link. For this, go to start > run, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click the string value default_page_url and modify its value with the desired website url, say http://www.google.com. Refresh view of your computer for the changes to take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]</b> key, right-click on the blank area to create a new String value with the name "Default_Page_URL".
Next, right-click on the 'Default_Page_URL' String value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the URL of the website (like "http://www.google.com")in the text box and click 'OK'.
