Save Outlook Express messages at changed location.
This setting enables you to change the location/path of the mail and news files stored by Outlook Express.

The outlook express program is an email client that helps you better manage your email. It can be used to read and send email, and download news from newsgroups that interest you. All mails are saved in different folders with .dbx suffix. This setting enables you to change the default location/path of the mails in outlook express folder. Important: after changing the path you have to copy all your mails from the old location to the new location. Then, youll have all your mails at the new location. All subsequent mails will be saved at the new location by default. For this, go to start > run, enter "regedit" and search the keys listed below. Now, double-click the value name "store root", to define a new path in the value data field for storing your mails. Restart outlook express for the changes to take effect. Note: the unique identity key is unique for each user identity. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{Unique Identity}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\]</b>,right-click on "Store Root" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the desired path in the text box and click on 'OK'.
