Disable the shortcut of Address Book utility in new Start menu (For All Users).
The Most Frequent List in new Start menu displays the application names that are regularly used. This setting can disable the shortcut of the utility Address Book link from appearing in the list.

Windows displays the most frequently accessed programs, in left panel of the new start menu called most frequent list. This list makes the program accessibility comfortable for users. But, with this setting you can disable the shortcut of the utility address book in most frequent list of start menu. Microsoft windows provides an address book for managing your contacts. The address book is an application and service that enables users to keep track of people. It is a convenient place to store contact information for easy retrieval from programs such as microsoft outlook, outlook express, etc. This application can be accessed through start > all programs > accessories menu. The wab.exe is the main executable program for the address book accessory bundled with windows. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create a string value nostartpage, if this value does not exists, and leave the data blank. This removes the shortcut to the utility. However, if you want to get the utility shortcut back in start menu, delete the string value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Applications\wab.exe\]</b> key, right-click on the blank area in the right pane and click on "New > String Value" to create a new String value with the name "NoStartPage".
Finally, the created String value will look like below.
