This setting restricts you to create Hotmail account or receive mail through HTTP mail server.

Description:
Normally, you can create hotmail account or receive mail through http mail server. Upon applying this setting you may not see the option of opening an account using http mail server. All email accounts using http protocol will be controlled with this setting. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the dword value http mail enabled to 0 which can restrict creation of http mail server account. However, if you want to show the mail server option back, change the value to 1. Restart outlook express for the changes to take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express\]</b> key, right-click on the "HTTP Mail Enabled" DWORD Value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the value "0" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
