Disable managing accounts in Outlook Express.
This setting disables you from creating or managing email accounts configured in the Outlook Express.

Normally, you can create a new account or modify the existing account to receive mails, download news or enable directory services. To avoid configuring mail accounts you can remove the accounts option from tools menu in outlook express. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value no modify accts, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data to 1 which can restrict managing accounts in outlook express. However, if you want to show the option back, change the value to 0 or delete the value. Restart outlook express for the changes to take effect. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express\]</b>,right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "No Modify Accts" in "Outlook Express" key.

Next, right-click on "No Modify Accts" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "1" (Base Hexadecimal) in the text box and click on 'OK'.
