Disable all most frequently used programs from new Start menu.
The Most Frequent List in new Start menu displays the application names that are regularly used. This setting can disable the shortcut of the applications from appearing in the list.

Windows displays the most frequently accessed programs, in left panel of the new start menu called most frequent list. This list makes the program accessibility comfortable for users. But, with this setting you can disable the shortcut of the applications from appearing in most frequent list of start menu. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value nostartmenumfuprogramslist, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data to 1 which can disable all most frequently used programs. However, if you want to show the programs back, change the value to 0 or delete the nostartmenumfuprogramslist value. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\]</b>,right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "NoStartMenuMFUProgramsList" in "Explorer" key.

Next, right-click on "NoStartMenuMFUProgramsList" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "1" (Base Hexadecimal) in the text box and click on 'OK'.
