Now, right-click and modify the value data of default string value with the name of the item that you want to appear on the start menu like google. Then, in the sub key \initpropertybag\ you have to create command and param1 as the string values, if they do not exist. Finally, right-click and set the data values of both the string values with the command you wish to execute. For example, type the complete path of the file name that you want to execute like c:\programs\prg.exe or an internet link that should be opened like http://www.google.com. However, if you want to revert back, delete the inserted registry entry and clear the modified field. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.
