Edit tool tip of Windows Explorer Commands (.SCF).
This setting enables you to edit tool tip of Windows Explorer Commands i.e. .SCF file.

Windows displays information text if the mouse is hovered on a file or folder. This text is the information about the file which is called tool tip. .scf is extension of windows explorer commands. These command used by windows explorer; for example, to move up or down a directory or show the desktop; run via internet explorer etc. This setting lets you modify the text of its tool tip. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a string value infotip, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value to with the info tip you would like to show with the file when mouse is hovered over it. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\SHCmdFile\]</b>, in the open area right-click on "InfoTip" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the desired info tip in the text box and click on 'OK'.
