Clear recent file list of Windows Media Player.
This setting enables you to clear the recent file list in Windows Media Player so that nobody else can see the files list you have recently accessed.

Windows has the ability to save the file names which you have opened most recently and lets you see them, but if you do not want others to see the list, you can clear it. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click the on the string value fileids (where id=0 to n) in the right panel and delete these values. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\RecentFileList\]</b>, in the right panel select the "File(0 to N)" which stores the filename and path you have recently accessed. Right-click on the selected list to delete them.
