Add the customized window title to Windows Media Player.

This setting enables you to customize the window title of the windows media player. The text entered will get added to the earlier text plus provided by. This means windows media player will be retained and it will be added by provided by plus the new text entered. The new look of the title bar will be windows media player provided by <custom text>. If you clear this text, then the original text will replace it. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the subkey \windowsmediaplayer does not exist, create it as explained below. Then, create a string value titlebar, and write new tile that you want to show in the title bar. However, if you want to replace it with original title, delete the subkey \windowsmediaplayer. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\]</b>, key and create a new key with the name "WindowsMediaPlayer" under "Microsoft".

Now, right-click in the open area to create a String Value with the name "TitleBar" in "WindowsMediaPlayer" key.

Next, right-click on "TitleBar" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the custom title in the text box and click on 'OK'. For example, if you type in "Microsoft" - the new title will be Windows Media Player provided by Microsoft
