Description:
This setting can check the service pack number of windows operating system installed on your system. You can also fix the service pack number, in case the system reports wrong information. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, double-click on the string value csdversion to check windows service pack number. In case it displays wrong information you can fix the same. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\]</b> key, right-click on the "CSDVersion" String value and click on "Modify".
Finally, double-click to view the Service pack number like "Service Pack 2". In case it displays wrong information you can fix the same.
