Show special icons for .VBX files.
Windows show normally .VBX files with the default generic icon, but you can specify that Windows should use the icons inside each file.

Windows show normally .vbx files with the default generic icon, but you can specify that windows should use the icons inside each file. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the data of default string value to vbxfile. Then, create subkey \vbxfile\defaulticon at hkey_classes_root. Finally, right-click and modify the data of default string value to %1 which can show special icons for .vbx files. However, if you want to revert to default icons look, delete the added keys and changed values. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. Note: this setting can reduce the performance of your system and if a file has no icon in itself, windows will display the file with the generic icon. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.vbx\]</b> key, right-click on the "Default" String value and click on "Modify".
Third, enter the value "vbxfile" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
Fourth, right-click on the <b>[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\]</b> key and click on "New > Key" to create a new key with the name "vbxfile".
Fifth, right-click on the 'vbxfile' key and click on "New > Key" to create a new key with the name "DefaultIcon".
Sixth, right-click on the "Default" String value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the value "%1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
