With this setting, you can change the default location/path of the "My Pictures" folder. Upon changing the path, all subsequent pictures will be saved at the new location by default.

Description:
Generally, the "my pictures" folder is found inside "my documents" folder and can be used to store pictures. The "my pictures" folder may offer a variety of options for viewing and managing your digital photos, like slide show view of the photos, sharing these photos, printing them etc. Windows creates the "my pictures" folder for all user accounts created on your computer. This setting enables you to change the default location/path of the "my pictures" folder. For this, go to start > run, enter "regedit" and search the keys listed below. You can create an expandable string value "my pictures" in "user shell folders" key, if this value does not exist. Now, double-click the value name "my pictures" under "shell folders" and "user shell folders" keys respectively, to define a new path in their value data fields for storing pictures. Refresh view of your computer for the changes to take effect. Note: after changing the path, you have to copy all your photos from the old "my pictures" folder location to the new location. Then, youll have all your pictures at the new location. All subsequent pictures will be saved at the new location by default. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the Start button, and select Run. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Next, go to the 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders' key, right-click on the 'My Pictures' String Value and click on 'Modify'.
Third, enter the new Location path like 'E:\Documents and Settings\Guest\My Documents\My Pictures' for My Pictures file folder in the Value Data field and click on 'OK'.
Next, go to the 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders' key, right-click on the 'My Pictures' Expandable String Value and click on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the new Location path for My Pictures file folder in the Value Data field and click on 'OK'.
