Change the description of .EXE files in Windows Explorer.
This tweak is used to change the description of .EXE files in Windows Explorer when you click on the Details in View menu.

Description:
The ".exe" files are the executable files, which can be run independently from run option in start menu or from ms command prompt. The description can be accessed when you click on the details in view menu. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the data of default string value to the desired description of your choice (for eg. "this is exe file"). The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to <b>[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\]</b>, in the open area right-click on "(Default)" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the description that you wish to show (for eg. "This is EXE file") in the text box and click on 'OK'.
