Change the hot tracking color of an item in Windows Explorer.
This setting enables you to change the color of an item when the mouse is hovered over Windows Explorer tree item.

The color of the item is displayed in hot tracking color if the mouse is hovered over an item of windows explorer tree. Rgb color combination is put in hot tracking color to change the color. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value encryptioncontextmenu in the right panel, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the string value hottrackingcolor to desired color code which can change the color of hot tracking item. Screenshots

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the <b>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors\]</b> key, right-click on the "HotTrackingColor" String value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the Color_Code of the color you want in the text box and click on 'OK'.
