This setting lets you change the status of the firewall. The status may be forcefully turned on or off.

Description:
Windows firewall increases the security of the users system. It helps protect your computer by preventing unauthorized users from gaining access to your computer through the internet or a network. The domain profile of windows firewall should be used when you work in a corporate environment and log in to your computer under a domain name on the corporate network. In this case you can force that firewall is always turned off. Even after turning off the firewall you may not be open to viruses and intruders, since you are always working on a secured network environment. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a dword value enablefirewall in the right panel, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify its value to 1 which can forcefully turn on windows firewall. However, if you want to turn the option off, change the value data to 0 or delete the value name to customize firewall manually. The changes take effect after a restart or logoff. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Now, go to <b> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsFirewall\DomainProfile\] </b> and right-click on the 'EnableFirewall' DWORD value and select on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the value "0" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
