Disable Support Information from add/remove programs

This setting removes links from the support information of the programs when they are placed in change or remove programs.

Description:
The programs listed in change or remove programs has a tool tip, which requestes you to click here for support information. The click takes you to provide troubleshooting information. For this, go to start > run menu, enter regedit and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the subkeys \currentversion\policies\uninstall\ is not present, create it as explained below. Create a dword value name "nosupportinfo" (if this value doesn't exist). Right click on the option nosupportinfo, and from the drop down menu, select modify. Enter the value "1" to enable the setting. Close the registry. Restart the system. When editing the registry it is highly recommended to run a quick scan for optimization, you can test your system now for free.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Go to <b> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies \]</b>, key and create a new key with the name "Uninstall" under "Policies".
Now, right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "NoSupportInfo" in "Uninstall" key.
Next, right-click on "NoSupportInfo" and click on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the value "1" (Base Hexadecimal) without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'.Once you are done. Exit from registry. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.
